The Black and Silver Brigade Competitive Marching Band
2008 Grand Champion Eagle’s Nest Invitational at Collins Hill High School in
the Atlanta Area, 2007 Grand Champion of the Heart of Georgia Marching Band
Invitational at Warner Robins, Georgia. Participated in the Phenix
Invitational Marching Festival at Phenix City, Alabama in 2000 and 2001, the
East Georgia Marching Festival And Championships at Statesboro, Georgia in
2001 and 2002, and the Spirit Of The South Marching Festival at Tifton,
Georgia in 2001 and 2002. The Black and Silver Brigade Competitive Marching
Band has 170 students. Having only entered the competition arena three years
ago, the Black & Silver Brigade has finished no less than third in the last
two years in any event. |

The
Black & Silver Brigade Football Marching Band consists of 270
students and a competitive marching band of 170 students. There are
four concert bands and two jazz bands at Houston County High School
as well as an award winning percussion ensemble. |
